If you’ve been looking for a deal on high quality eyeshadow palettes, look no further. I was scrolling through Sephora’s sale page (such unusual behavior for me…), when I happened to noticed this great deal – BareMinerals’ The Star Treatment palette for $25 .BareMinerals released a new line of pressed powders thus year, and I’ve read many reviews raving about the high pigmentation, easy blending, and long lasting powders. I liked (but not loved) their famous loose powder foundation, but I’m excited to get my hands on this palette.
The palette got an A on Temptalia, the most popular makeup reviewing blog. Here’s what she says:
“If you like your colors warm-toned, fairly neutral, and shimmery, this is your palette from start to finish. When I tested out the palette for wear, they wore like iron–full ten hours without fading or creasing without a primer.”
“OMG, why is this palette on sale?! It’s totally worth it at full price. It must be because it’s a limited edition item so I would encourage everyone to get this while you can, especially at this price. I haven’t bought a BE product in years due to the mess with the loose powders. But this had such good reviews from the “Beauty Gurus” that I had to try it. I was surprised at the butteriness and pigmentation of the pressed shadows. It’s up there with Urban Decay and with less fallout. At this price, I’m thinking of picking up a spare, it’s that good.”
The palette was originally priced at $40, but because it’s limited edition, they’ve got it on sale by almost 40%. This deal won’t last long, so if you’re interested, I suggest you order it today.
Another great deal can be found on Amazon for Stila’s In the Garden palette.
It was originally priced at $39, and it’s still listed at that price on Sephora. But for some reason, it’s on sale at Amazon for only $22. And if you’ve discovered the glory of Amazon Prime, it can be at your doorstep in 3 days for free. The reviews are mostly positive (4.5 stars on Amazon, 4.6 stars on Sephora). I only own one Stila eyeshadow, the champagne Kitten, and it’s probably my favorite single shade, with beautiful pigmentation. A friend of mine also has Stila’s In the Light palette, and she’s a big fan. You can check out swatches of this palette here. I’d buy this, but I already have a lot of similar colors.
